Some of the shots I see on here the capper is either extremely experienced, the person in the shot is oblivious or doesn’t care, or the capper is bold. Wanted to know does anyone use hidden cameras to cap? Not just talking avoid smart glasses either with camera I know there’s items you can buy that look like regular items like a cup of coffee or a watch. Thoughts on this?

I think that depends a lot on the quality of the camera.. most of the pinhole spycams are lousy quality unless you are willing to pay a lot.. but if you get a good quality pinhole cam, I guess nothing is better :)

How do they use them without raising suspicion?
I feel like you would have to set it up to look as though you’re a vlogger or something but then you couldn’t focus on them for more than a few seconds
So they hide them?
Do such things exist? Their aperture would be tiny so I wonder how good they could really be?

In terms of quality a hidden cam would probably not be better than a phone camera in most cases. They can still get high quality shots if you have a good setup i bet. Not a fan of a fish eye kind of effect action cams have tho, so imo telephoto lenses on phones are the best realistic caps. Hidden cameras can help you get shots that would otherwise be suspicious with your phone tho
From my perspective I use a phone with a flip case so when I am recording I can cover my phone screen up and have my wireless headphones in so I can look like I am playing music which to be fair to me I am. I get a mixed bag of captures when using a phone, zoom and angle are affected most as you don’t want to hold your phone straight up as you will give the game away. I tend to hold my phone close to my hip and “adjust my arm” when I need to. Have got some brilliant caps doing it which I need to get round to sorting and sharing (deffo not easy to capture where I am based.) You can also get a secret video recording app through most app stores but these are often worse in quality and zoom span in return for covert if you haven’t got a screen cover. Hope this helps!

I’ve used a GoPro 7 and 9. This is just my experience, but a hidden GoPro in a small bag with a strap has aroused less suspicion than capping with a phone and the quality is immensely better.
I’ve only posted a few things here, but you can check them out to see how well I do. I also use Topaz to AI upscale the footage and Adobe Premiere to piece it all together.
What kind of bag? Like a male purse?

Just contact them. They can customize stuff. Not everything in on their website. Some guy customized stuff for you there, he’s cool.
