That’s the sony fdr x3000, I also use it as an option to shoot. He has his in some type of casing to make it discreet as a vape pen. I just wrapped mine in electrical tape so it doesn’t stick out cause it’s a white camera. Works well, you can palm it easily. I use it depending on the situation, but I’m going to start using it more often

They’ve looked dead into the lense before, and still had no idea I was capping them, they can’t prove I was recording them. And if anything I was using the cam for “vlogs”. Especially if you have your back turned the subject and holding the cam backwards trust me, I have about 10 different caps where they look right into the cam. Never said anything to me about it. I’ll upload one day maybe but they are treasure I’m keeping for now

of course when you’re busted you can get confronted or banned from the location you’re at, but it’s really only a criminal charge if it’s up - skirt or recording kids… i may be way off on that though

It’s one of the smallest action cam, and if have a little of creativity you can hide it with magnet accessories.
In summer i made a little hole in my costume, and i hide it inside with the magnet
