Photos seem to have better quality (obviously) but I find it difficult to pull off and videos are just way easier. But the downside with videos is the quality can be ass sometimes especially with bad lighting even if I’m using an S22 ultra.
Or maybe it’s just my phone? I’m curious whether iphone pro max has this issue as well taking videos in bad lighting
Its time for an upgrade. I have s24 ultra, so video is at 60fps @4k. Hard to beat, but I do enjoy the 100x zoom to take pics. You can zoom in on an ass from so far the chick wont even bat a fucking eye!
I have and old iPhone SE and what I do is I take videos in 60FPS and I screenshot afterwards. If don’t move too much it ends up being good quality. But I have to scrap some shots when its all blury.
I use an iPhone 15, I take videos at 4k 60fps and then screen cap after. Some people say it’s over kill buts 4k makes the screen cap so sharp even when I zoom in 2x plus
Do you use any app for recording or you just zooming from far away? I’m on S23 Ultra and I used to use the SCOS app but that died a long time ago.
100% video for me. photos just don’t do it for me. I play ball here b/c seems like people like photos more here so I grab the screenshots highlights from my videos- but i like to post both.

The ideal is get multiple pictures and some videos, but we can’t do that always
I use this app called (discreet) when the app is open it has a black out screen, and to record you tap on blacked out screen once and one vibration will tick, and to stop recording you tap again and multiple vibrations will tick. You won’t get the processed video your default camera app has, but to me the footage is more raw with out all the processing your phones does without you knowing. The only catch is a one time 5$ payment for the video format. It also has its own library for vids with Face ID. lol I gotta girl so this helps a lot.
100% video then screenshot. I unfortunately don’t post mine because I prefer face shots in combo with body shots and that’s just not a risk I’m willing to take. However, I would only do video+ screenshot. It’s more to sift thru but you get far better abilities when it comes to acting natural, and it’s just easier to do all around in my opinion.

Pics only live mode gives much better quality only video when I see some crazy jiggle or it’s a dangerous situation I just set it to record while I do something with both hands so I catch my shot.
