Make sure your phone is on silent, turn the brightness pretty much all the way down and then do what I call blind shooting(don’t look at your phone or the subject, just hold your phone in positions/angles that you think will get the shot)..the whole point is to act casual and nonchalant, so that your gf never catches onto the fact you’re shooting footage right in front of her, blind shooting takes practice and years of experience shooting candids in general but you eventually get the hang of it

I have my phone’s action button directly linked to my discreet camera app, so all I have to do is hold down the action button, then press on a volume button to start recording. My phone was already in my hand when I saw the baddie, and I didn’t look at my phone for the cap whatsoever when filming, a “blind cap”.
I film on my phone in 4k / 60 fps with a 2x zoom. I have the keep the camera steady, but the high resolution lets me get a lot of cropping in for screenshots and extra video stabilization after-the-fact. I was holding my phone sideways for this cap because that’s what looked natural, but because of the high resolution, I managed to crop into vertical screenshots and gifs to exclusively focus on that ass.
This was possible with my gf nearby only because we were already standing in line, and this MILF wasn’t moving around either since she was ordering food. You’ll see that’s why I didn’t turn with her when she leaves. Otherwise I would have gladly gotten a shot of her walking. I was facing the same direction the entire time because that all the risk I can (reasonably) take.
Of course, you also just want to pick your battles as carefully as possible. I only went for this cap because my phone was already out, she was right in front of me, and I pretty much had to make no extra movements. If the stars didn’t align the way they did, I wouldn’t have risked it.
