It’s not that she doesn’t mind, even if she did, there is nothing she can do about it. She is in a public setting. You being there is nothing wrong. Recording here maybe a violation for disorderly conduct but that’s even a far stretch. You can record public settings!
The ladies shouldn’t mind at all. If they do, just remind them it is their mothers fault. When we were their age, the girls would all say, “why don’t you just take a picture, it lasts longer.”
