Found a bag but

I would like help from bag shooters. I found some great bags for a setup and tools to make proper holes if I have to hoping cam just zooms past material, but do you guys use handheld bags/pouch or strap bags. Ik bag setups are good for sideshots but how do you guys get walking shots from behind without turning your hand/bag in obvious ways or do you just do that. This is why prefer front facing action cams like the insta go 3s I use now or fdr-x3000 for example but it’s hard to get side shots stand/walking next to target which is why I’m looking into bags and the insta has better battery life with pod. Any tips are appreciated.

Simply rotate the bag as you switch hands (naturally it switches from front to back). One hand got tired of carrying the bag, moving it to the other hand is a natural behavior.

I use a GoPro in a small shoulder strap bag. Its great for approaching women from behind while they are walking. Unless someone looks directly at the lens, or your body language (holding the bag like a camcorder) gives you away, I think its more subtle than a phone. At a distance, no one should suspect what you are doing.

It will take some practice to get the shots you want. I never know for certain how well the cap turned out until I take my setup home and check it on my computer.

Usually I approach from behind, wait for the girl to walk into a chokepoint before getting several seconds of up-close footage.

Chokepoints can be things like street intersections or staircases where its more socially acceptable to walk closer to other people, but say if youre walking on a sidewalk, when other people are walking the other way people will tend to “close ranks” (i can’t think of a better term) to let the other people pass, during this time I try to get right behind the target for a brief moment.
