How high of a focal length do you need?

I’m thinking about buying a zoom lens with a max. focal length of 200m for my sony a7 III.

Now I’m wondering what kind of shots I can get with this.
Does someone have any example photos with a 200m lens from roughly 45m away from the subject? Would be REALLY helpful, thanks!

It’s probably worth it, but you will still have to be decently close to them for it to be good and detailed. Maybe like less than 30meters away.
