I’m still pretty new to the cap game, but i really wanna know how to take upshots. Any pointers?

Recently, Ive tried holding my phone upside Down and Holding it close to my thigh, so you get the power angles. If youre brave and not sorrounded by people, you Can tilt the phone under her ass to get Upshots. This has been my experience, it has worked on stairs and in the gym

Well for me since I cap in stores, I wait for the person to be somewhat distracted, I pretend to look for something next to them, I kneel down and take an upshot there, as long as nobody is around or i don’t make myself seem suspicious lol

Very late response, but I have a very easy way to take upshots. I use an app to record in the background, and I use the screen facing camera while reverse gripping the phone. It’s way less suspicious to hold it in your hand like that. I’ll couch down to act like I’m looking at something behind my target, with my phone hand resting on my thigh/knee.

It’s amazing, but it has limitations. It’s not very good with really low light, and it’s by no means better than the back cam. The main issue with it is it’s hard to not look weird holding your phone in front of you for walking shots with the reverse grip. But the ease of getting close for shots is so much easier this way, especially if you’re in a location where the target is looking around and stopping. You can get easy shots from the side and literally crouch next to them without them batting an eye. They may just move slightly away if they notice you, but no one will do it bc your recording. This is why all of my caps tend to be in small stores or a mall store with a lot packed in it.

I use xscamera. I switch the recording mode to the front cam, turn off the little preview thing, put the video quality on its maximum setting, then turn off sound bc it takes up more space. And tbh this method is so easy I can talk and chat to someone while capping, and hearing my voice in these recordings low key pisses me off lmao
