I got caught today at target…

Creepshots in public spaces are legal in the US, saying creepshots on private property are illegal is known.

Not to everybody, and you stated “creepshots are legal” - which, again, is entirely dependent on where you’re from. Not everybody is from the states.

He told them everything because he was scared. DONT have candid photography as a hobby if you’re too soft to lie about it

So…you didn’t tell them about us, right?

According to birdlaw, you’re advised to submit any questionable “content” into discovery (within the body of this topic). An accurate follow-up plan of action can be created once said “content” has been reviewed in-house (here), by your peers (us).

95% of the time I’ll actually buy something. Could be something small or stuff I actually need but it makes you look way less suspicious if you have a basket with stuff in it then actually check out. Even if you visit the same one often you just look like a regular customer.

First off, if ever confronted about it… walk awayyy! Don’t interact with anyone or answer anything, they can’t touch you so don’t give ‘em the chance & get tf out of the location.
Second, if they do somehow stop you from leaving, lieee. Never say your real name so they can look you up or relay it on lol Gotta play your cards right. Next time

Target hires the worst people.

Agreed. A bit off-topic, but going off your point - Costco on the weekends is usually extremely busy, which makes it a prime hunting ground with a good talent pool. I’d say the quality is on par with Target.

Agreed but you need a membership to get in.

True, but I guess that adds to making this look normal. Since I have the membership and use their other services, I usually do end up buying some stuff if I’m at the warehouse so I blend in with the crowd. But yeah, sucks that it’s membership only. Same with Sam’s Club (although SC was hit or miss in my experience).

Better than Target imo

Side note to this, you actually don’t need a Costco membership if you’re planning to buy alcohol in some states. I remember hearing it somewhere, and turns out it’s true in a few states (it’s apparently illegal to membership-block someone from buying it LOL).

But the downside is that you then may attract some attention to yourself by being the one who doesn’t have a card, so I don’t know haha. Easier to blend in if you just have a membership and use it.

True, and plus a lot more in quantity as well since it’s always busy. Never is dull and you don’t have to wait around.

Sounds like the security guard is a huge beta male white knight type
