Laptop issue have candid video on them should I repair it?

I have a laptop which is not working but hard drive had full candid pics should I give for repairing since the it guys may go through hard drive .

I have kept the candid inside the folder but not password protected

Should I give it or repair it on my own?

if the drive is fine and doesn’t need repair remove it and send it in with another

I had same problem. Replaced my laptop and bought a hard disk docking station that connects with USB. Took the old hard disk out, popped it into the docking station and watching all my caps again.

Depending on what’s going wrong with your computer, you could download the Ubuntu linux distribution and put it on a flash drive (Its free). Boot that up (might need to adjust boot options in the bios) in Try Ubuntu mode and you should have access to your files.

When I press power button nothing is working, the hard disk light is also not showing

Depending on the type of hard drive you have in your laptop, you’ll need either one of these:

  1. M.2 NVMe SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter (cost around $20)
  2. USB 3.0 to SATA External Hard Drive Docking Station (around $20 as well)
