As you may have noticed, the main site, https://candidgirls.io has been redesigned from the ground up. There may be issues/bugs so if you notice anything wrong please use this thread to let me know. Expect for the website to go down multiple times as things are updated in the coming days/weeks.
Feedback and suggestions also welcome.
Premium accounts should still remain premium after this revamping. To check if you are premium, click the sign in button and your name should have a checkmark beside it like so:
If you have a checkmark beside your name, that means you have full premium access to ALL videos on the site.
The site is now “infinite scroll”. No more clicking the “next” and “prev” buttons. Just scroll and scroll as much as you want until you find something you like.
Videos now have previews. Hover over a video to watch the preview.
Click your username to bring up the user menu. “View Profile” shows a list of videos you have uploaded. “My Likes” shows a list of videos you have Liked.
To Like a video click the heart icon. That video will now be available on your “My Likes” page.
In the bottom left under a video you will see who uploaded it. You can click their username to view their profile and see all of their videos.
You can now add comments below videos. With a video open, scroll down to the comment section to add comments.
Click the options menu to open it.
You can now sort by category, newest videos, most likes etc. You can also filter videos to see only the free videos or only premium videos. But be warned, many of the videos do not have a category yet.
Click the search button to open the search box.
You can search video titles, tags and usernames. But be warned that most videos do not have a title or tags yet. Clicking the X will clear your search and reset the results.
Videos with a lock icon require a premium membership to view. Also note, there are no longer 2 tiers of premium. There is just premium or free. Nothing else.
If you see a checkmark on a video that means it is a premium video and you are a premium user with full access to ALL videos.
There is now only one kind of premium. Either you are a free user, or you have premium access to ALL videos. Nothing else. There is also a new non-recurring 48hr trial option which grants full premium access to all videos, downloading included.
The upload page has been revamped as well.
You can now add a comma separated list of tags to your videos. People can search for tags using the search box, so adding tags means more people will see your video. Having a good title also means more views because people can search for that as well.
When you click the upload button you will see your current upload speed in the bottom left corner.
Once your video is uploaded it needs to be processed. You can now see the real time progress of your video conversion to monitor how far along it is. No need to refresh the page.
When it’s done converting, click the “view video” button to see your video live on the site.
You can also find your videos by clicking your name at the top right corner to open the user menu, then click “View Profile”. You will see a list of all of your videos.
Moderators will have a shield icon to the right of their name. Admins also have an “admin” tag beside their name.
