Black clothing is a pain to photograph especially in strong shadowy areas. In these cases, I will always prioritise reducing shadows to show the lines of the clothing more. Unfortunately that might mean other areas are also brightened but its the compromise I make.

Ideally I’d select only the black areas and fix the shadows on those, but in reality I just don’t have time for that
