Boutta go to the beach and boardwalk in a couple days and need some tips, don’t wanna hold my phone directly at them and the boardwalk has a lot of people so it’ll look very obvious. Anything helps

Has anybody ever got caught?

I’ve only gotten some looks, in that circumstance it was probably cuz you had already bought your stuff, maybe look at screen covers or find a new method, plug in your headphones and act like your on the phone while holding the phone where ever you want

A belt clip/hip clip helps or you could go with the lanyard keychain style. I would also recommend holding your phone with an ice cooler if it helps

GoPro8 or action cams connect to bags and won’t be suspicious at all.

I think you can get a sleeve to go over your back pack strap to sport a phone, phone holder. Use buttons to start stop recording.
