Trespassing?

Hi guys
So today i went to Walmart capped a milf apparently she called the police said I was following her… police waited for me to leave they asked me a few questions asked me ID I gave it to them. Then I deleted the pics and showed him my camera roll just said she was pretty wanted to ask mby if she’s single or not… police said store manager might want to charge for trespassing? Anyone have similar experiences? What will happen to me. I’m retiring bye guys

  1. Nobody here can tell you definitively what will happen to you.

  2. If you end up being trespassed, respect their wishes. You won’t be able to go to that specific location, or possible location(s), if word gets around.

  3. Know the laws of your county/state. Don’t listen to anybody telling you about not getting in trouble over Candids as different countries and states have different laws in place regarding the matter. That statement is misguided, at the best of times.

  4. Candids are not for everyone. Little upside with many downsides, to be honest. Especially if you’re a retail shooter. With all due respect, it’s sometimes best to be on the sidelines watching the show as opposed to being in it.

Anyways, I do wish you the best.

Should’ve just left when you noticed she was onto you. If you didn’t see those signs then yea give it up bro, capping is not for everyone and you don’t want your face posted anywhere

Yeah I feel some guys here stalk women and go every aisle recording. Yeah do that in those Latino markets or Asian stores where security is none existent lol. Walmart and target are always on it

Keep you chin up brother, I know it sucks for you at the moment. Honestly, there are dozens scenarios where it could have been worse for you at the store, just stop going there for a long time if not for ever and let this be a lesson. In the mean time I recommend you to prepare yourself mentally for the worst possible outcome, be ready to face whatever might come, it is also important to take some time for yourself to de-stress, watch a movie or your favorite series or whatever just do something you enjoy (that won’t get you in trouble) and make you forget about this for a bit, don’t let this situation consume you. If nothing bad end up happening from this, just be thankful and try not to get yourself in big trouble again, second chances must be appreciated. If by any chance you keep capping in the future, make sure to up your awareness game, add some self restrain and know when to stop. Good luck.

Depends on your laws, but capping itself is not illegal. Know your rights.

Lots of times Police will BS in an attempt to scare you if you dont know your rights. The store manager in most cases can’t just charge you with trespessing the first time, unless you were previously banned/told to stay off the property.

Somewhat similar similar situation happened to me at Walmart last year, except I got called into the asset protection security/camera room at the front entrance and was notified that cops were called. However a deputy never showed up due to a shift change and they let me go after an hour without ever signing any trespassing paperwork. They did tell me that the lady who I capped could press charges if she wanted, but it’s been 8 months and no news yet.

Any business owner or private store can have you trespassed. They have to issue a warning, first. Then, after that trespass notice, you can’t go back to that location or you can be arrested.

Rule of thumb dealing with police: ask them if you’re free to go. They will 99% of the time say yes because they are trying to coerce you on some bullshit. If they say you are not free to go, just say “lawyer” to all their questions. They need probable cause of a crime to even approach you. Capping someone in public isn’t a crime unless there is sound on the recording. Which is a gray area because phones catch sounds. What is posted here doesn’t usually post sound.

This is from my own experience with cops, unless youre commiting a crime right in front of them they cant do much. They probably dont give a shit.

Private businesses have the right to ask you leave and if you dont, youre technically tresspassing and youre committing a crime. I think worst case scenario you can be banned from the place. If youre capping in the bathroom or up(s)kirting or capping someone in their home or backyard, thats illegal voyeurism and you can be charged with worse stuff.

Personally i never cap in stores because i feel it would be too easy to get caught, but capping in stores seems to be the overwhelmingly popular thing to do here.

Solid advice. Everybody should watch that youtube video of why you should not talk to police.

Don’t Talk to the Police

TL;DR - The more you talk to police, the more they can use what you say to go on a fishing expedition to try to get you for something else.

Even with store employees, security, loss prevention - unless they say you are under arrest, you are under no obligation to go with them to a camera room etc.

Based on everything I’ve read on here and other corners of the internet, the worst case scenario (in the US) seems to be getting busted for trespassing if you go to a place you got caught and capped again. But I wonder how this works at a smaller store without the tech/resources of like a Target; do you really expect a worker at a smaller store to remember you months or years later?

The one thing I had previously been worried about is the cops coming to your home, but they have more important things to worry about and I can’t imagine they’d do anything unless someone reported you while still in the store or if you did something truly dumb like filming in a women’s bathroom.
