i feel it clogs up the feed of new stuff bumping old posts. particularly when it’s a nothing comment. Anyone else feel the same?
Some people haven’t been year for years man. It’s new stuff to new users.
if it’s a 10/10 I dont mint people bring up the old gems. like the person above me said, some people are too new or missed it
Try sorting by “new” instead of “latest”
Yep as pointless as you posting and saying you don’t like it lol some of you guys really think anyone HERE cares what you think
100%
Let them show their support
Some people only view a few pics a day, and there are 100+ that get posted every day.
So its inevitable that you find some old ones you haven’t seen before and wanna show some appreciation with a comment.
What happens if someone posts a great catch in 2022? I’m not allowed to see it because I registered in 2024?
People commenting on old posts is infinitely better than people posting old and fat people everyday.
The real question is “why is it the ones that have 0 contributions the biggest complainers?”
I’m going to bookmark this post so I can comment next year.
Seriously, though - no content = nobody gives a shit about your opinion.
Sometimes you have amazing topics that, when time passed, they’ve been forgotten more or less. In my opinion it’s just like a classic movie or a classic song: there is no reason at all to just let it die purely because of the fact that is is old.
I bumped this topic pretty recently, I can GUARANTEE you that people were grateful for me bumping it, otherwise they might’ve never seen those absolutely incredible pics:
(Not my own topic! Shout out to Serenader)
Those are the kind of topics that deserve to get some new attention when they are getting kinda forgotten since they literally outshine 99 of the 100 topics. Old or not, that doesn’t matter anything. Why would you post comments on a new topic that sucks, is a better question in my opinion. You should keep the quality topics alive, and quality has nothing to do with how old they are
Edit: I just see that everyone before me said almost exactly the same, sorry for not adding anything new but I’m glad to see that almost everyone sees it this way. @Promero you really hit the nail on the head. And @CandidNoob7, bro from Cali with all those insane latina topics, it’s indeed always the people who contribute nothing who complain or just demand that you upload more pics or vids like you are obligated to do that
I remember a topic of you where a dude who literally had ZERO pics uploaded getting angry with you because you didn’t upload the vid of a particular girl, the 20 amazing pics you uploaded were not enough aparrently
I’ve only been on the site about a year, I get to see a lot of fire stuff that I never seen before so I don’t mind, and also you don’t contribute so you can’t complain
Joined 2022, first topic created, don’t do this pls
Agreeing with those other two guys… There are SO many topics on this forum that it’s impossible to have seen everything.
Sometimes you come across a certain piece of content that was genuinely legendary z or got a ton of replies, OR flew under the radar and didn’t get the attention or deserved the first time around.
The one thing that eats me is when people go to old topics and ask for a video from users that are no longer active. Then they reignite conversation around a post, but the video never shows up.
I’m probably guilty of this. I can’t tell at a glance if someone is active or not. Perhaps a suggestion for the mods and developers of this website is an indicator next to users names of people who haven’t been active for over a month or similar time. Even if a video request is made to someone who has not been active, they arent the only person who may have the video being requested. Obviously if it’s OC that has never been released this is not the case but if OC had previously released video, someone else may have dl it and is willing to link to it.
I see the opposite, I think it’s a very valid option to be able to keep past things, as long as they still have enough quality, for example, I have more memories of my old content than of the current one, I see how another user described something classic (like a movie or song).
