Unis can do whatever they want to their students, but arrested for voyeurism?
Was it because he filmed inside buildings?

The post on the university Reddit said he was taking pics and yanking his chain. Maybe he got searched and they found more, cause seems extreme for a few feet
Indecent “expoosure” (Canadian accent) is def an arrest + charge in the US
Oh well yanking in public changes everything.
I’ve capped on campus, against my better judgment, and posted some stuff here.
After doing a little research, it does seem that Canada and the US have slightly different definitions of voyeurism.
In Canada, if there’s a sexual intent behind the capping, it makes it illegal. There does not appear to be that stipulation in the US definition.
I found a couple examples of arrests for voyeurism on US campuses and found one example of an old guy using a drone to film through dorm windows (those women have a reasonable expectation of privacy) and another example of someone capping in a bathroom, which is definitely illegal.
Sooner or later AI is going to start tracking all these post and will start flagging people. Best to just not post the ones close to you just randoms
He definitely went too far and I’m sure they got a warrant and searched his computer and phone and found some other shit. I dint buy he got all those charges for recording feet only.
This and probably tracking faces on security cameras. Which some places already do but imagine it with AI.
How would anyone (legally) prove “sexual intent” behind photos? ![]()
Its real, legit saw him getting arrested on campus, the uni sent an email to all the students, and it was posted all over the police’s social media
Stanky ass feet
By recording feet
FAKE! but pretty funny.
I will never understand people’s obses (sion) with feet lol
Not fake lol. If you did your own research you could probably find the exact case pretty easily lol, but whatever floats your boat ![]()
It doesn’t have to be a mathematical proof and you can still get convicted. Beyond reasonable doubt. It’s pretty clear to you, me and everyone else that there’s sexual intent.
As a Canadian, that’s wild. There’s no reasonable expectation of privacy in public, though the undershots/upshots can fall under voyeaurism - that goes beyond just capping. It sounds like there is more to the story here - criminal harassment charges are very serious, more than just taking pics, likely following the same women enough for them to be concerned about their safety.
I seriously doubt most of those charges would stick, but it depends if he kept his mouth shut or talked to police and admitted the pics were for a sexual purpose. It appears he was also sloppy with posting them online so that’s free evidence as well - I read on reddit he had a youtube channel with over 5K subscribers, so must have definitely caught the wrong attention. Either way, he’ll get dragged through the courts and rack up legal fees fighting. Not to mention the shaming.
As always, a solid reminder to be careful and know your rights. Never admit anything, never talk to police, and never show anybody your phone.
Does anyone have the videos tho? Asking for a friend ![]()
If the capping is of breasts/cleavage or butts, the intent is absolutely sexual.
“There does not appear to be that stipulation in the US definition.”
That depends on the laws of the state or local jurisdiction.
It’s doubtful that any criminal charges can stick in this case, unless there are provincial or local laws prohibiting this sort of activity. But the university itself has said that they do not allow people to be photographed without their consent.
