Just posting this to spread awareness. This guy was caught recording women around campus, and was charged & arrested. An email was sent out to all of the students, and now hes getting clowned on by all of the students lol, and could have possibly ruined his life. Not sure about the legality of all of this, but he only took videos in classes or in the library, and didn’t take any upshots or at any private places (to my knowledge). He was caught by a student in one of his videos, and I’m guessing she reported him.
This took place in Canada, and his videos got a combined of like 500k views which is kinda crazy

No idea how things work over in Canada when it comes to expectation of privacy or whatever but I’m guessing the fact that he specifically went for feet couldve screwed him maybe? Wondering if this was at a private university or not which could also be relevant.
Damn they threw the book at him. Definitely gotta be discreet about it. I don’t know the whole story but there are security cameras everywhere so yeah be careful capping in some places

my own doing candid rules:
never have physical contact with targets!
do not follow them other 10-15 mintues top!
dont do candid around where you live, someone close to you, or someone you meet in daily basis!
and last, definately dont get cought over recording feet bro!
this is the type of don’t shit where you eat example. That’s why I never cap in gyms or colleges. Unless I’m only going to those locations once. Always switch up locations
Might be different because it is Canada. From what I know, shooting here in the States is okay just very frowned upon of course. As long as it’s nothing you have to break the law to do. Aka, up the skirt or hidden cam in wash rooms. If you sell the clips you shoot and get caught, that is where you get in trouble. Like someone else said, don’t shoot in your area.
The second 2 bullets feel like such a stretch… maybe it’s just the Canada-ness. Ah well universities can make their own rules. Otherwise they’d be assuming sexuality and harassment
Easier said than done. I have been capping at a place very close to my work, and that place has the BEST cap “resources” out of all the places I go. No place can come nearly close to it….and I know I am playing with fire at this point
Are colleges/universities considered private property? If so i guess he can legally be arrested. If it was a public place no way in hell he could be charged for this
This is fake for sure, the pictures shown have nothing incriminating in them, are you taking us for fools, filming dirty feets make you go to prison, why not a death penalty, look at photographer all of them that have the street photography theme, they encourage you to be stealthy, and most of their pictures don’t have a written consent, otherwise you won’t photograph anything.
Good list of guidelines. Remember cappers that cameras are monitored these days for shoplifters and other petty shit. Don’t be fixated and know when to walk away
