Any way to change standard photo folder on Android phones?

IMO the most risky thing is not being caught taking pictures, but what comes afterwards - as is seen in many of the “guy caught creeping” videos. When they urge you to show your last photo - of course you shouldn’t. But of course you act very suspicious then.

Wouldn’t it be much more cool to have new photos moved to some secret folder and, if asked, show a “clean” standard photo gallery (and deny any allegation)?

Googling it didn’t help so far, but maybe someone has a solution? It’s not about moving photos to some secret folder at any time later - it’s about storing taken photos right to a somehow secret place …

that only makes sense if the photos are never stored on your phone…If its stored anywhere on your phone the right person can get access to them. Because usually when they take your phone you are probably dealing with more that just a flashlight cop.

Some people do, do this i feel like doing this to as a security. Its mostly on Samsungs flagship phones which has a secured folder that is hidden in settings and requires pin/fingerprint to unlock as well.

I use this app, called mhc (mobile hidden camera), and it saves movies / images to a hidden folder with a .nomedia file (so thumbnails do not show in gallery). Works like a charm :)

Sounds like a good solution. But it seems risky to install a random .APK where not even a producer is named … Found a site where this app is called out for taking secret photos in the background at any time (and submitting them to external servers) without the phone owner knowing it - that’s not what I want.

If that were the case I think I would know by now… I always use a firewall with block outgoing, so I can control whats going on… and Ive never seen the app even try to do anything bougus. Ive used the app since 2009…

One option is using an app called folderlock for ios or some android equivalent. The app’s camera function shoots directly to a secure folder not the phone’s photo gallery. However, it doesn’t stop someone asking you to show them your open apps. Still, by comparison, closing an app is faster than deleting photos.

I don’t want to overprotect. But I’d feel more safe if I knew I could show my Photo gallery without a risk if anyone raises supicions, including accusing any person of false claims (“I’d never take photos of strangers, how dare you?”).

A QUESTION, Can you record hidden on iPhone? with any app? NOT by touching the screen 3 times

Does it work for iOS? Because only Android comes out, there is an app. other than the default option

This is an old one used back in the day and still works

Put a japanese flag* before the you know what and it will do u know what from the art gallery.
Use the famous app with books wrapped that has the 3 letters name. I guess it does the job in the devices of apple as well if im not mistaken… remove the asian country flag if you want it to do you know what again

You can do it after every few shots if you are out on the wild in case you want everything clean and shiny for visitors
