Little bit history for you: Brazil was probably the only country were slaves were “official” sidechicks of the white people. Kids were not fully accepted but tolerated. So throught the time and with more and more settlers from europe (especially germany, italy, portugal, etc) 42,6% of brazilians are “pardo”. Means mixed and somewhere with black ancestors.
Even the “white” people are somewhere with black dna.
I dont remember when, but had a student applied for a “black people scholarship”. He sued the university and won because he could prove his DNA contains some percent of “black” DNA.
So resume… black and white in brazil is a very mixed thing. Stop the stereotypes. Just because someone is from a certain place this person is in a specific way.
