At the time of this was shot, a Pixel 7 Pro.
I currently now have a 15 Pro Max and a Pixel 9 Pro.
iPhones have fantastic color accuracy, but my particular iPhone 15 Pro Max device is inconsistent with quality. One minute you’ll get pinpoint detail, the next, it’s fuzzy, loses focus, and struggles with maintaining white balance. I still prefer to shoot with it because when it does work, it’s second to none. And it does have the better ultrawide in terms of color accuracy, detail, and degree of view over the Samsung S24U I recently sold.
Pixel 9 Pro is probably the one I prefer shooting with overall, at this moment. I’m still playing with the two to see which is better for shooting. The Pixel captures incredible detail and has yet to fail me in this regard. However, the colors have more contrast so they look unnatural. Whites are more yellow and it tends to cue on the red side, in many cases. I do prefer it over the iPhone (as of now) because it’s consistent, where as with my particular iPhone, the color palate shifts in some sessions to varying degrees, as does the quality.
