I didnt really planed to make this rig, i just had that bag and build the rig in basically no time 
I actually walked through the city with that bag 3 times for multiple hours with no problems.
My tactic is to just look at the eye contact of my surroundings so if someone looks close to the lens i turn the bag.

Honestly gonna have to give this a go, ive been the tallest in my community for a while now and even holding my phone to the lowest I can im shooting backs not butts. Do you have any video shots that you can share that would how the stability?

Try the same set up smaller bag , way easier to get in / out of stores …. Looks like most like girly store bags so helps blend in … $1 …. And less noticeable than a big bag …. Being a brand less bag will have the tension ease off u when ur in stores cause they can’t say what u bought … Gotten some of my best with it , I’ve posted before but hard to see everything posted ( also gives u a reason to go to target for a re up when u need it :) )

The bag is actually pretty small already.
I give you the point with brand less bag, should be easier to use inside certain stores but if they want to look inside then its over..
plus I feel like the opening to your bag is really obvious but if you got good results then GG to you!

Here’s an example. But keep in mind stability also depends on your frame rate, so shoot at least 60-120fps. If you’re using a phone in the rig, find an app with good stabilization settings, but the default app should work fine too.
I hear u . I use a dummy receipt in the bag and throw a shirt over what I put in the bag never had an issue . The hole is always facing my pants unless I’m following ass so it’s never been noticed . I’ve opened my bag for a employee that asked once and legit they can’t do nothing but look cause all they see is a shirt

Thanks! i think the idea with a receipt and any sort of clothing should be enough to convince cashiers when showing them the inside!
Instead of using grey duct tape, they sell brown paper like packing tape at Walmart, and different brown shades of duct tape at Hobby that are both similar to the inside color of the bag. It will make it much more descrete if someone gets a glimpse of the inside of it.

Do you think brown packing tape holds as well as duct tape? - I dont want the bag to collapse when i tilt it.
This is the same setup I use lol. This bag works great with a phone upside down to have the cameras in the bottom corner.

unfortunately the bag isnt wide enough to put the phone upside down for horizontal recordings.
How long do you use that setup and did you found a bypass to take it into stores without it being checked?

That’s true, but same idea applies if you were to find a wide bag that can fit your phone horizontally.
I don’t tape my phone to the bag so im able to quickly reach in and pull it out if I need to in an emergency or for whatever else. I just have 2 microfiber towels inside to push the phone and press the cameras to the corner.
Been using that black setup for around 5 months now. I mainly use it at malls or shopping centers with multiple stores so as to not raise suspicion when entering a store in a mall/center. I have been to a couple one-off single stores with this bag and nobody really bats an eye if you look normal and confident.
Though if security was to ask to check my bag I can simply open it and pull out my phone, and show that it’s just microfiber towels. It’d be kinda weird for them to see that but nothing that will raise major suspicion like shoplifting or a crime so they probably wouldn’t care that much as long as they don’t notice that my phone cameras were peeking through holes while I was pulling my phone out lol.

I was already looking on amazon for bags and i believe paper bags are the best option.
Unfortunately there was no bag for the size of my phone to put it in horizontal and the handles didnt allowed tilting up the bag for upshots.
Unless you look sus bro no one is gonna stop you and check your bag . Have you been getting stopped and checked w ur set up ?

I never got checked no, but only due the fact that i didnt went into any stores besides clothing stores and outside
