What phone do you use, and anyone got any ideas for a decent budget phone that records good details ? I see quite alot of decent videos on this site and want to participate, and share but I don’t know what to invest in a camera or phone etc

can’t fit a bottle but I use a pack of cards to keep my camera stable and a shirt to keep me blended in

To add to the convo - I’ve probably used this 4/5 times so far and its worked great. For my go3S. I just like using my phone in hand the most lol
A reflective bag hides the lense quite well
Edit: First i traced the circle of the lense on the outside of the bag (go3s lense sticks out a tiny bit from the camera body) used a small tipped knife to cut out the circle. The lense holds it in place - as well as the box and sock in the bag.

The handles do make it easier to angle up n down

Not big at all . Just look at the cards in the bag for comparison and think how small cards are . It’s about 8 inch tall , 4 inches widemaybe 5/6 inches jn length … a small gift bag size

Im currently still on the iPhone 13.
I recomend either the dji Osmo Actions or any of the Osmo Pockets.
Never used those cams but i researched them a bit and saw good results from other cappers - I think they are good but i could be wrong.

Set up twins 
mix that with the earphones I use and I don’t go nowhere near the camera / bag cause I use my phone to press play/ record the cam it’s just a breeze but u can’t get caught up

How’s the battery hold up on the camera you have, which one was it again osmo action 4 that you use in the bag ?

I’d go with a modern iPhone with at least dual cameras. I’ve tried the DJI osmo and insta go 3s and those two always overheated on me when out capping.
Been using my iPhone 16 for around a year and it’s able to stay in a bag for around 3 hours capping off/on before the battery gets really low. It does get really hot too but hasn’t shut off or stopped itself from recording.

Go3S does the same thing. More often when its in my hand - still either overheats or runs out of battery in the bag after ~45 minutes of recording time till it runs out.
Saving this method for when summer comes around again
