NGL, as grateful as I am for the shots I managed to get, I’m a little miffed considering I could have got a lot more. Think the infamous Target video — similar layout (we were in the main walkway at the end of the aisle(s). However, unlike that layout, this was in the corner of the store, roughly 15-20ft in length with the endcaps of each aisle being roughly 3ft wide in width, running adjacent to said walkway. There’s a turn you have to make at the end of the walkway due to longer aisles, so if you were to continue to walk straight, you’d walk right into it. This other path leads you to another walkway (complete with pillars — my favorite) leading towards the end of the store, about 40ft? in length. — this means the view is obstructed from the corner we occupied to customers, employees, etc. (Essentially from most of the store). Moreover, because of the 3ft endcaps, unless you’re standing directly at the end of the aisle, or by the endcaps themselves, your view would be obstructed, too. Lastly, no cameras.
That being said, PERFECT opportunity… if it weren’t for the fact that it seemed everyone that was in the store, was occupying this part of it. Yeah… bummer. What made it hurt worse, is it’s rarely ever busy at this place (it’s almost always empty), and it’s one of the larger stores in our area, so even if it is busy, you rarely have to worry about congestion — not today, though. For as long as the subject was there, an employee was there stocking the endcaps while a customer was looking at the merchandise. And of course, knowing my luck, when she got up and left… everybody dispersed, as well — wish I was joking.
Anyways, you learn to laugh. I got what I could and I’m happy with the results — enjoy.
