I’m not superstitious or even slightly stitious but fucking hell does it feel like the universe is conspiring to make sure I don’t get any caps.
It’s comical
Went to a St Paddy’s parade nearby and thought fuck it I’ll cap any cute Irish lasses… I saw almost none ( usually there’s lots) and when I played back the few who I capped my phone went out of focus as soon as they entered the frame for absolutely no reason at all meanwhile videos I took to send to my Irish friend turned out fine
There have been so many suburban legends and backyard Batman’s lately who somehow appear whenever I even think about capping a woman when I’m literally not doing anything suspicious and they remain until I or the subject wanders off
In an empty shopping mall the other night there was a cute Latina mama standing there on the phone with a great body and I got my phone out and did the usual - pretending to take a call - next minute a janitor appears and stares me down like a hawk to the point that I had to keep walking. It doesn’t even make sense, I was in a work uniform and I wasn’t staring or following her or doing anything that seemed suspicious in any way, I mean I had only just seen her a few seconds prior.
I saw a dime piece the other day as I was about to leave the store when the fucking security beepers went off and they had to search me - it was a false alarm but by the time I left she was long gone.
Or if they’re across the road there will be a car that drives at exactly the right pace to obscure them the whole time.
It sounds like confirmation bias but it happens every time lately
I just have to laugh about it
If I was a more superstitious man I would think it was some sort of divine intervention
I am trying to cap less if not give it up completely and I guess this is helping me think twice about it
Oh man not the security sensor going off lmao, ngl it sounds like you might have the worse case of luck, or just bad at reading your surroundings.
Just wait for opportunities and let the moment build up into that opportunity from now on. Rushing to take your phone out, checking out a girl lustfully is giving you away prob and others are noticing
I don’t know I think I got pretty good at looking natural.
I’m a good enough looking guy that my appearance shouldn’t creep anyone out.
I’m pretty good at capping without directly looking or following a subject.
If I see a guy pull out his phone and take a call near a woman I wouldn’t assume he was secretly taking a candid and I’m someone who knows that’s an option, most people probably wouldn’t even consider that someone might be doing that
But hey the proof is in the pudding and people do seem to be watching me like vultures now so maybe I’m giving off the wrong vibe without even knowing it
I don’t feel like that but yup sounds like you have bad luck.
When capping just prepare for everything, camera, surroundings, subject, chances of being caught all these little factors can increase your chances by 1-5%
If I were to give advice to anyone and/or any person, I would always say that the best way is to stop this activity. Give yourself a chance and reflect during this period that you are taking a break to see if it is possible to gradually reduce it until perhaps stopping completely…
Now for those who intend to continue, I think the healthiest thing is to have quieter periods. This breaks some of the paranoia and also the confidence that comes from doing it all the time and not getting caught. Confidence can be treacherous for those who are not cautious at the right times.
Perhaps your perception of failure is caused by several desperate and mistaken attempts, causing a bad vibration in what you yourself said, hence the importance of what I said above, inevitably all hunters without exception have already gone through, are going through or will go through this.
Only happened recently but the last three times I went out to cap found nothing until walking out and they walk in. So frustrating but I remember reading other post about that kinda thing happening so like you said, gotta just laugh at it and move on.
It’s just a numbers game. The more you do it, the more opportunities you’ll have along with failures. Another user said something along the lines of just staying open to whatever may pop up. That’s pretty solid advice.
Just bad luck. I had shitty days too. Like I was going to had the best shot of my entire life and then… My phone just ran out of battery in front of me. I was sooo pissed off.
And some awesome days.
I call them “legendary days”.
I also made a topic " my smoothest cap session ever". It was the opposite, the gods wanted me were on my side with the capping.
I can’t count the times I finally met my target on my way back home after I decide to leave the place because there was nothing to spot on.
I don’t know if I’ve ever found a really sexy subject when I’ve gone out purely to cap. Some cute ones but I don’t think I ever looked at those caps again.
So it helped me come to the conclusion that I was never going to go out of my way to cap, that way it feels like it’s less of a hindrance in my life as well
I think it’s important to be really selective too.
I really shouldn’t even bother capping unless the subject is making my jaw hit the floor, not just any old fairly cute woman who crosses my path, because frankly I never even look at those caps ands they just increase the chances of being caught
Probably realistically I only really revisit about 1 in 10 women I cap - they have to really be standouts for me to even remember them
Just happened to me today. On my way driving from getting lunch at Subway seen this wide assed thick legged PAWG in a summer dress walking into laundromat. Didn’t pursue because I had people waiting for their food
There are many times when a baddie just barely gets away and I curse my luck. If only I had been on the scene 20 seconds earlier, or if I hadn’t gotten nervous and hesitated.
And then something like this happens:
This is one of my best shots.
You just gotta be in the right place at the right time. The more you do it, the more opportunities you have to get something good, but also the more opportunities you have to get busted. It’s a game of chance.
