Ran into this PAWG and had some situation there. This man came up to her “excuse me, ma’am, that guy was just filming you”. She was like “wait, what?” but in a confused way. I walked on behaving quite normally and nothing more happened. She probably thought HE was being the perv for even suggesting such ridiculous thing and bothering her about it, HAHA! Thoughts? Similar situations?
Can’t upload the picture here, I’ll try it in a comment.
Got a few looks by others while filming, but I was quick to drop it and move on. I find that observing a free basic rules a necessity, like never follow a women who’s already looking suspicious of me, or avoid eye contact with third parties.
This statement goes far and I feel it’s underrated “beaware of your surroundings.” Seems you dodge a bullet this round be cautious tho…because that woman can call security, or the police and you could possibly be held for conspiracy or questioning.
I’ve haven’t been in a situation like this, but some of my subject’s do notice the cam at times. Usually a 50/50 shot of her giving a bitch face or she will give me a show and sometimes both…if I’m lucky😋 stay safe out there.
You probably got lucky and she had self esteem issues. Just because some on this board see that and think “PAWG” doesn’t mean she sees herself the same way, so her reaction upon being told you were filming her was confusion and bewilderment. If it was another, more conventionally hot female, she probably would have been quicker to believe the 3rd party and you probably would have got a glare at least.
This one. I don’t know how the other girl came to that conclusion, my screen wasn’t on and my phone wasn’t really that up close to her ass lol. Some people just want to be righteous I guess.
Situational awareness and being aware of your surroundings. IT’S NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE OF POSTING IT HERE, trust me.
Don’t follow for extended periods of time, don’t film subjects that look well aware of their surroundings or adept to their environment. “Try” to avoid open spaces that are not densely populated; the less control of your environment, the higher the risk.
I’ll also add that, you can take ALL the precautions in the world and it may still happen.
I’ll share a funny story, though. The very first time I did a candid shot, I almost failed miserably. I got the shot, but the shutter sound was on and boy did that make the hairs on my spine stand up. THANKFULLY nobody noticed, I believe, and there wasn’t a showdown. But anyways, became a lot more careful since that day. A shot isn’t worth your livelihood.
Most of the time the woman isn’t the problem. They don’t realize it, or if they do they are willing to give you the benefit of the doubt if you seem like a nice guy. Personally I’m only being cautious of outsiders watching, because they either don’t have the balls to do this themselves or they meddle in shit because they think they are being morally on higher ground then everyone else. In most cases, this is what makes my subjects uncomfortable in the first place.
I’m throwing some bold assumptions out there I know, but that’s also my experience.
Sort of. I was in the makeup section (lol) around two girls and a random karen asked me if I’m looking for something. I was caught off guard and just said no and she seemed to point her phone at me but I wasn’t sure. When I went back to and watched one of the videos, she was blatantly filming while walking by but I didn’t see it.
I just got the hell out of there and haven’t been back haha. Probably will go back eventually (gotten some great wins at this store) because what’s the most she could have done? Tattled on me from pure speculation? Would they tell all the employees? I think not. Could always just wear a face mask😂. She has no proof I was actually filming and didn’t really call me out. But tbf I was hyped up on caffeine and being careless following a group around so lesson learned.
I wouldn’t necessarily say that. Today I tried to film that girl in the candy bar isle, but she just wouldn’t hold still. Later our paths crossed again by pure chance in the produce isle and she smiled at me. My theory is that she noticed earlier and tried to play along, but didn’t give it away. There are so many different ways a connection like that can play out and sometimes it’s luck, other times it’s just the wrong chick on the wrong day.
Hopefully you werent obvious. I think worst case sce nario, they go back and timestamp when you were there and view the security camera to see if it looks like you were filming, and possibly keep record. Then again, if you werent being evasive, and you havent heard anything, maybe the lady just tried to scare you
