Get your videos ready. The forum is getting its own filehost soon. Early adopters will earn an exclusive “Founders” badge for being among the first users to upload files to the filehost and get a certain number of downloads. Founders will get Free Premium. Once the founders promotion is over, it will never be possible to earn a Founders badge again.
Top uploaders will also earn an exclusive “Top Uploader” badge on the forum, as well as Free Premium. Premium comes with unlimited downloads and more storage space, among other features. Earning free premium is easier and faster as a founding member.
You won’t need a premium membership to download files, just a forum account. Free users will have a daily download cap.
Uploaders can repeatedly earn free premium month to month by having enough downloads on their files. The filehost will have generous file size limits so you can upload full-size high quality videos, you won’t be limited to just 100MB like the current video site.
So have your videos ready to upload on launch day! We will be giving out lots of founders badges and free premium memberships.
Wow, this should be good. I have lots of content yet to share, and this may give me that further boost of posting without needing to find a storage provider. Can’t wait
Alright might have to dust off my video editor. If I manage to receive a founders badge, may I get the “ pending approval “ removed. It pops up for every comment I post. Looking forward to this, thanks.
Will there be a separate rules page developed for the videos similar to the current posting guidelines? Or will the rules remain the same same as for regular posts?
