I have no doubt you’re correct, but it’s really hard for me to understand. The whole reason I share is because I want everyone else to have the opportunity to enjoy what I got to see.
Sharing stolen pics would just not be fun. Guess it’s the modern version of “the fish that got away”.

I sometimes wonder if the elaborate too-amazing stories are a clue. 99% of the time, my story consists of something like:
“I spent 45 minutes trying to bore the people I was with so I could shoot unencumbered. Right when I had the shot lined up, a retiree in a golf cart pulled in front of me and started asking me about golf-cart hubcaps. By the time I got rid of him, I only managed to get these three shots, which were an accident, as I’d given up & didn’t realize I’d hit the shutter button until I got home.”

There is no doubt there are some amazing stories out there. But the ones where they use variations of the same hero story every time… can make you wonder.

Yeah, didn’t really think so, but it got me wondering, 'cause these HoS’ers seem to be pretty amazing specimens by their own accounts

I got suspicious because of how incomplete his story was in combination with how good the pics were, and how close he allegedly was to the subject.
