Have you ever been located?

So I cap a lot especially in my local shops, out side them etc

I do my best to remove identifying information but sometimes just the location itself is a giveaway so no getting around people knowing where you shot from that day

I post my content on here and other places but mainly on here.

I’m curious if anyone has ever commented or messaged you going was that taken at so and So and been correct?

I guess my worry is if I keep uploading too many shoots from local then it might get wind that their is a regular capper in x town and people might be on higher alert.

i was just capping in a shop and i swear moment i walked in eyes were on me, maybe just paranoia it’s late shop was closing soon but still plenty of people in there.

I do make a habit of not posting content straight away, some I do others I sit on, like my Malta stuff that is years old now.

Yes

One guy recognized a girl I posted, said he went to church with her as a kid.

Another guy looked through my caps and figured out what town I live in and he was trying to give me advice as to where in town to cap, which I did not care for.

My general rule of thumb is waiting about 6-12 months before posting a cap. I’ve got some really good caps from this summer, believe me, but I don’t feel comfortable posting them until the fall at the earliest.

I have actually recognized other shooters locations lol but I keep to myself. But yeah especially if the area is very familiar/popular someone will recognize it

I do think that is the best play.

When I cap someone super hot the excitement of sharing it with the community makes me want to post it straight away need to get out of that habit.

Cap → edit, take away anything identifying etc → wait - cap more while waiting → post ->, repeat

will be my motto now. I live in an area where I don’t think capping is really a thing so people can be really blind to it. I can sit in my car point my phone directly at the store and just snap away but problem is with that phone is on max zoom images are blurry, I’m switching it up a bit now and trying to get a bit more up close and. Personal

Yeah I don’t believe I could ever get excited by a cap taken from my car.

I gotta get my GoPro halfway up a girl’s ass to feel anything at all these days.

Yeah I’m fast realising my caps have been okay don’t get me wrong I’ve had so good one, but they have also been tame. I’m trying to get a bit more bold but shooting from a iPhone 16 so need to be carful I guess.

I’m not sure I will ever get them up shots not with a phone anyway I have been looking into other equipment etc but my biggest issue most the good places I tend to be with the other half it’s only when I’m at work or quick trip to the shop that I’m not with her, she also can see my location lol. So not quite sure how to get out more to cap.

I think getting closer shots would also help with the not being located as there would be less of a background

I’ve located myself. Someone capped my girlfriend, and I was in the shots as well. No big deal, I do it too.

I’ve actually recognized a capper. I was at a market with my wife, she was making a purchase and I was scanning the area looking for nice asses. I spotted one and in doing so I also seen another capper. I was thinking it would be nice to see what he got. A while later I was scrolling on the forum and seen that exact cap. Ive never mentioned it to him.

seems like being located and locating both happen and i guess it’s part and parcel of doing this, I wouldn’t being being located by other cappers who post content its the viewers. the lurkers that are the concern lol

A couple of people have noticed my location. And I recently reached out to someone knowing we cap the same spots. But I’m not in a small town, so I’m not terribly worried about it.

Yeah it doesn’t really matter if people know what City you’re in. If i did all those NYC cappers would be sweating bullets

once someone posted a girl that i’ve capped at the gym i go to. i had no idea somebody else has been shooting at my gym, and i still have no idea who it is, if that makes you feel any better lol

People on this forum will call you out for sure. And that’s fine. But its also why I dont post any more

It helped me realize how easy it is to figure out. They did me a solid, better a capper call me out than the subject etc…

When I first started I would cap in my city. Sent a submission to a candid twitter account once and someone in the comments who lived in the same city recognized the location I capped in and put it on blast. From then on I started driving to different and bigger cities near by, never my own anymore.

One day a guy posted a girl to this board he had capped the same day - and I had capped the exact same girl at the exact same location only minutes before or after him. Our pictures were quite identical. That was a crazy moment, given that we live in a mid-sized European city. :rofl:

We capped the same girls on other occasions, too. So we live in the same city, capping the same stuff, but never met.
