For context i saw a department store worker with a huge ass and i knew i had to try capping her, usually i cap walking targets from behind so this was a first for me. To be fair it was a clothes store segregated by gender and she was in the female side but point is it went bad, i was pretty nervous and i just felt really suspicious walking around in the women’s section which made me feel paranoid. I ended up capping her from behind eventually while i was examining a large women’s pants . I got even more paranoid since she straight up turned around and glanced at me and thats when i knew i had to leave.
I also feel like even if she was in the men’s section i wouldn’t do any better, i’m sure she would be on guard if someone walk’s up to her and start browsing clothes while holding a phone to the side
Do you think i have a chance to go back and try again or is she full aware of me and will remember me?
I always assume that most cappers on here are middle aged white men who look like somebody’s grandpa lol because as a black man it’s no way I could get away with some of the caps on here women are super on guard as soon as u come in their area
Maaan whaaaaat , as soon as I walk up to the YT pawgs they get suspicious of me immediately, ain’t even start recording yet. It’s tough out here for the brothas
I think it’s because they know us brothas are into ass heavy so it’s like an automatic “oh he’s looking at my ass thing” white dudes can fly under the radar easier lol
I mean, you essentially laid out everything you did wrong…
You’re chasing around an employee in a department store in the women’s section, WHILE you’re paranoid. In essence, a walking red flag to everybody in there. Employees are higher risk because they work there all the time, so you have a greater chance of being spotted.
If you think you’re paranoid, I assure you look twice as much to everybody else. I say this with all due respect, mind you, it’s not an easy hobby.
Future tips, go to department stores with mostly neutral/unisex areas. You CAN shoot employees, but be mindful of the fact there’s an added risk and probability of being caught associated with it. Go when it’s PACKED. Weekends, holidays, etc. People care less about their space when there’s too many people as it is to give it serious thought, and are less likely to pay attention to whatever you’re doing unless you stick out like a sore thumb.
To @kansascitygod913 , it’s not nearly as much as you think. Regardless of your race (in most cases), if you carry yourself well enough and don’t stand out, you’ll be surprised what you can get. That is, of course, unless you live in an area that’s predominately one race and you’re of the small minority. In which case, I’d understand.
My strategy is always to be on the phone on my headphones. If I’m in the women’s section (because I’m chasing tail) then I pretend I’m on the phone to my “wife” and looking for something she wants.
Think:
“Yeah yeah, they have the pants you sent but not your size”
“There’s some other ones over here that are nice… Yeah they’re kinda green I suppose”
Just keep yabbering, have a bit of an argument. Whatever.
I use Background Camera on android. It has a real browser, so you can have something from that store open on your phone, but the volume button takes the photo. If you want to be really bold, ask the attendant if they can help you find the thing you have open. That way they’ve seen your phone and aren’t worried about it anymore.
Becoming a shooter needs time, dedication and understanding, and the right type of person. It is not meant for everyone. If it was that easy then everyone and their dad would be shooters. Figuring out how to act normal in any given situation (or in specific situations you want to focus on shooting at) is what you need to do. Act normal as its related to both the shooter (creeper eyes, sweating, bad shooting technique, etc) and the situation (women’s store, street, line, etc) relative to how you can hold your shooting device. You can’t just be randomly going up to a subject and start shooting, and expect to be successful. Just holding a phone in your hand doesn’t mean you’re trying to cap ass (or you’d have pretty much everyone on the planet filming ass lol). This is where acting normal comes into play.
Here I’m in a women’s section capping a subject. I’m able to shoot without anyone noticing even facing her and having people around, your techniques and strats come with experience.
