Ive got an iphone 16 pro,and i wanna hide my screen when i take candida but the voice over method is too long and theyve already left before i get shots.How do i film with my screen hidden faster,for free?

Hey man, for me personally I primarily record and go frame by frame and screenshot the best parts that focus. I have a privacy screen protector that blacks out the phone screen at any angle not directly facing the screen, the other trick is you can record with the command center opened, so I turn my brightness down all the way and touch and hold the volume so this is my screen.
Try it it’s pretty cool, unfortunately not for photos, respect to those that do hard to cap using photos.

They’re on iOS which doesn’t have that app. Their best bet is SPC

reduce the white point to 100%. in bright places your screen is literally black (having the brightness down all the way of course), and in darker places your screen is still extremely dark. it’s even better if you have a privacy screen like the guy stated above. go to settings → accessibility → display and text size → scroll down to reduce white point → then drag the slider up to 100%.

There is an app for iOS called BlackVideo that gives great results and has a black screen. It even has its own private video library and a simple way to get the video onto your computer

For free? There are some apps but the best app is SP camera but it’s not free. Or you can apply privacy protection glass. Nobody can see what you’re doing!
