Is there anyone here that would be interested in monetizing their content? If you have good videos/pictures, perhaps you would like to make some extra money on the side.
The way that it would work is that you would get your own exclusive category here on the forum, and members would pay a monthly subscription to gain access to your premium content.

I don’t think I have enough content for a monthly subscription, but I do have some insane stuff in the vault I wouldn’t mind sharing for a price.
Like the idea of shooter’s getting a 50% cut of their own club rev. Idea is popular on other boards. They make it work with weekly content updates. High end equipment and pro level content that’s in demand for candid consumers. Would be a lot of work guys don’t kid yourself. Hobby turns into work real fast. It’s a great opportunity.
I’m interested, got a ton of content and this would be a great incentive to take the time to edit and publish it.
I would consider it. I have tons of content from swim meets and the gym that I won’t post because it is much more risky. Some extra dough may make it worth it.

I’m less interested in selling content, as I’m fearful that the hunt for monetary gain will lead to an explosion of candids. And with that, unwanted attention. I would hate that it could lead to some sort of regulation.
I have lots more content to share. But I struggle with how to get it on this site. In particular because i only shoot vids.
But on the other hand, I’m willing to pay for premium content in the hopes that I could see some specific material that I enjoy. And it would motivate shooters to post.

This is a good point. I think they can accomplish their goal if executed the right way. Which way to go is the question. I like the idea of ad space for a few reasons. It generates revenue from both ad space payments as well as subscription members that remove ads when they become a member. If they pool the ad space and subscription money together they can re allocate the revenue to contributing members. The higher the quality and the more you contribute to the forum the more money you receive for your time,risk,etc. similar to Utube model for content creators. This would also help eliminate some, not all of the content theft. Just a couple thoughts here. Thanks for reading
Other sites do something similar and is a real motivation for shooters to post higher quality content. If done correctly and if the incentive is there I think it would be a great addition to the site. I’d be interested.

This is tempting, but I mainly see this as a hobby and don’t see myself as a pro, yet.
I’d consider both of our work to be payworthy. We’re both getting better all the time and commit to the capture when we’re given the opportunity the way few others do. There’s some others out here also doin great work for the site, good to see.
