hi guys… today is the day…
my sony fdr x3000 is done for it… it fall of the table right onto the lens and shattered into pieces
my whole world is shattered with it…
1- do you guys think there is a chance for repair ? or i should move on…
2- are there any other replacement eqiupement with same carrying ability?? like with this cam i just hold it (used to ) naked in my hand’s palm and just capture the moments…
Just here to keep your hopes up the glass might be fixable. Try not blowing it or rubbing it since the tiny shards of the glass lens may scratch the actual lens. I’ve never seen that type of camera before it looks funny but that’s my 2 cents
I use the dji nano the same way and size
its probably fixable. that looks like the outer part is broken, not the actual lens. im sure you can google a replacement. Ai says to google for “FDR‑X3000 lens protector” or “front lens block/assembly” replacement part. then you gotta do some repair work but looks kinda simple
Also. what did you use to cover the camera, making it black? Doesn’t it muffle the microphone?
Does the camera still work? Have a 3D printer? I can send a STL of the custom covert case I made for my Sony camera that is the same model as yours.
I also own the device. Can you send me the STL file?
