I feel like walking around with my phone is too obvious and feel paranoid. I just need a new tactic to get me amazing shots without being noticeable. I can get great shots if i just knew what the key is to a great technique.

This has worked for me, im gonna start dumping more of my OC and it has worked for me.
Otterbox belt clip, and when i wanna get face shots i open the clip to help me get an angle up.

I have a few suggestions although Iâm not a master.
First you need to realise that while you are self conscious, they are not paying so much attention to you as you think unless you do some silly things (see below). You can get quite close and its fine honestly
Next you should try getting close without a phone at all. You only feel weird because youâre doing something weird. Practice getting close without filming and if they look at you well, what can they say, youâre doing nothing.

You can use the nose scratch technique to even cap directly in her face for a few seconds. You can practice this as well. Personally to me a cap is not complete unless its face and ass so Iâm trying to work on this. Another one is holding on your bag strap. Keep moving your phone around so you donât look like its fixed in one place.
The silly things you can do are for example getting spotted over and over. You need to see a chick and go for it that one time, if they keep seeing you on every street corner they will remember you and then you will get in trouble.
If you have an iphone then get a flip wallet case so you can film without worrying about touching the screen which fucks it all up.
In short its a balance bet ween hanging back so you donât get busted and getting in close for a go at the good shots. Let your adrenaline push you closer - itâs supposed to be a rush - but if you fuck up just walk away and dont let her see you over and over

Regardless what ANYONE ever claims works, be sure to have them show the proof. When it comes down to the best footage itâs either camera/phone in hand, in a bag (looking up or out), or setting the camera/phone in a position for subjects to walk by - and thatâs it.
Iâd love to see the eyeglass, pen in pocket, or anything wearable but the footage has also always been shit. I think I speak for most everyone (with good footage). The wearable option can only be good if you have a great device, and unless youâve got a DIY setup or over spent on some âAs Seen On TVâ type shit that works well and built great (good luck with that), the footage will almost always be fuzzy.

Honestly, I see this âtransgender sillinessâ started out as a tip-towing around a joke with a stereotype flavor and someone comes in yelling the worst possible word you can label someone.
I feel they ARE relevant to the conversation based off the title, however joking. Not as bad a joke as those that say they record subjects by sticking the phone in their back pocket claiming perfect results.

yeah exactly. you just need to move your phone around, make it look natural and not hold it in one single position
you only need a couple of seconds of video if youâre making pics and so thereâs no need to walk down the streets with your phone held out or down by your leg like a tard (i used to do this). Just have it in your hand like a regular person and then move it down or up to your nose or wherever just at the right time. i guess that probably needs a bit of practice but when youâre all fired up on adrenaline even the shit practice attempts are worth it
if youre trying to shoot long video clips then i guess its a bit different but they dont seem super common on here do they

you still need to be ballsy to get those different viewpoints. Either film the nose scratch as she walks up then turn and follow to get ass, or pass her by getting ass then turn after a bit for the nose scratch.

if I see someone i want , make sure to walk by them faking a convo on the phone. Make sure they see you. Then next time just walk by with your phone in your hand. Wonât look as weird since they just saw you on the phone and youre probably expecting another call.
