Tough and good question. You have to look up your state attorney. If they’re enforcing AI laws then adding generated AI audio over a candid can be considered general harmful intent. Despite of most AI corn laws stating image, video, and deepfakes. Which is far greater than “general harmful intent”.
Will say first that A.I generated content in any capacity is forbidden here — adding that tidbit.
Now onto your question. What “generated audio?” If the source material is already illegal, adding A.I content to it will be redundant.
Conversely, A.I generated audio infringing, or interpreted as infringing, on intellectual property rights may be a cause of concern, in the same way as if said-audio may contain any element or material violating a law in everyday language, such as hate speech, threats of violence, etc.
