Target Cappers Beware, My Experience as a Target Security Guard

I’ll preface with the fact I’m not trying to scare anyone away but inform you of how much you truly stand out to the lost prevention/ security guards. I worked as a target security guard after becoming a candid enthusiast. Before I learned how diligent they are I would go target for the casual cap. After working there for almost a year I quickly learned how much a capper will stand out unless the store is completely packed with customers. We have guards constantly watching security cameras that clearly see every inch of the store and we are trained to keep an eye on every customer in the store. So if a person is acting suspicious and constantly walking through aisles, not shopping and especially following customers we keep an extra close watch on them. Trust me it’s so easy for them to find that, they can zoom in directly on to your phone as see every text or what ever your phone has clear as day. The key is to be as discreet as possible, be in and out, and shop while capping. Don’t be greedy and be in there for over 30 minutes cause you’ll for sure be under surveillance. It was a great job for a capper I saw so much nice ass every day because I worked there 8 hours 5 days a week. I’d see countless hot milfs with see through leggings in thongs. Other than that be careful out there and good luck.

Nice info, being anywhere for a long time not buying anything is immediate red flag for me that I have noticed working retail if you keep walking around you 85% of the time stealing or doing this.

Yeah that’s why I try to avoid target as much as possible unless I really need to shop there. I have capped there a few times but the risk is so high. People always get caught there. I know target low key has the best pieces of ass but I’m not trying to get caught

Grab a soda, pay in cash. Grab a cart. Actually shop around. Leave the cart in a low-traffic area when you see a subject and “shop” in close proximity to the cart. Pick something up, head back to the cart and continue “shopping”. Maybe even buy something, again in cash. You can always return it.

That’s great advice from an expert! It does’t apply to me in the UK but it’s good advice for anyone - in the UK we have intense security in A LOT of stores! The streets are well covered as well so the advice does apply - DO some shopping, don’t just follow people around. YOU ARE BEING WATCHED, even if it’s not illegal, think how you would feel if you were challenged!

What would u do if you saw someone cap sexy girls & your boss wanted you to confront them?

What would u say to that guy after confronting them?

Yes they’re always watching. I had a friend who used to do lost prevention at tj maxx. He said they had a whole file on me. Said I would just walk in the store and walk around and leave. Never went back. Gotta be careful

Can confirm. I also worked at Target (wasn’t security) but one of the security supervisors literally told us on the first day that the cameras can zoom in on phones and read messages. If you just look up at the ceiling, there are cameras in every inch of the store and pretty much all of them work. They use them to follow suspicious subjects who are likely stealing but they could theoretically follow anyone. There’s usually always one person working the cameras throughout the day and they communicate with other security on the floor via walkies/earpieces. Also bigger Targets tend to have undercovers, sometimes two working at the same time, that are plainclothes and follow suspicious people around. This is how they would stop customers that were stealing before they got to the door. They have a pretty elaborate security operation. Given that retail theft is on the rise, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is how other retail stores operate as well.

Other than that though, Target is a goldmine for fat asses and MILFs. That’s definitely one part of the job I miss the most.

I am in Canada, do you think an ordinary grocery stire, like Walmart, Superstore, Save On Food, will have someone regularly monitor security cam. Cause i rarely see any security personnel in those stores

This man spoke one hundred percent facts. Everytime I cap at Target (I usually avoid target)

I have this thrilling scary paranoia frenzy on the back of my mind. Super super nerve wrecking. I’ve gotten great shots. But man they drain you in the sense of “I risked my neck at target for these caps”

Very very true. Target is no joke

Front security, loss prevention staff, undercover agents, like he said security observing cameras. (I can only imagine, walk talky "oh yo this dude on aisle A36 isn’t shopping, hasn’t bought anything, is walking around the aisles and keeps following women) We may need to question him

Then you get the “friendly” "hey boss, find everything okay? Are you new to the store? Anything you’re looking for in particular? Capper: “nah I’m good thanks”

But they are watching you. And like he said I don’t want to discourage anyone but

Capping is a risky action such as of course petty theft 9/10 times you’ll get caught. True. Good luck, stay safe cappers.

Great insight.

Let me say this, you don’t have to be a target security guard to spot the many absolute baffoons I’ve myself seen. It’s embarrassing how much of you stand out while capping, and it’s no wonder so many people are becoming aware of it.

But a file of what? One time I was at a store I guess they thought I was stealing since people usually see me as a suspicious person well, one worker acted like he was talking to someone on the phone. Said I have about five records. Okay… but of what?

Yea just avoid stores I’d say but what can they do? And what if the cops do get involved?

Damn i wonder what kinda file they got on me🤣

Well not only you hahaha all of us. For sure. They record and memorize our face. And have an undercover hunting us next time we go. Very good point!

You don’t have to buy anything though.

Maybe capp only if there is an opportunity, don’t be greedy or maybe follow them after they have paid and going to the parking lot.

I’ve capped at three different targets in my area which are mostly not huge population hubs, and I haven’t had any issues. I even know the lady security person near my target and she’s pretty nice. I’m pretty good at keeping it down low. I have changed the speed on how I walk when I’ve seen someone to catch up but that’s the only thing I think really stands out. Only time I have been caught was at Walmart by a not old milf with tats cuz her female offspring saw my phone out lol. When have u guys been caught?

Ive capped for years and have never seen another capper in person.
