Could anyone help me with my setup when capping? I’m still working with the old dark screen and phone in my hand. But if anyone has a better setup or method for hiding your cameras, I’m all ears thanks!
Also if you have any example caps with good quality that you’ve taken with a good setup feel free to show it off here!!
I usually (I don’t know where and what type of caps you get) but I usually hold something in my hand with the phone, to make it look like I’m just carrying it around and also you can get people to re arrange your camera to like your charge port or something, you could also use cameras made for candid which are small and not really noticeable unless your purposefully obviously pointing it at their cranium. Yw!
if you don’t wanna go through too much effort or wanna try something quick, get a gym bag with mesh side pockets and place your phone there to where the rear camera is facing outwards then just place the bag down in front of your mark.
An Android application called background video recorder has worked very well for me. I use a phone case that has a rear finger ring. When I start recording, I start the app, then I lift the ring on the phone case and I put it in the front pocket of my pants, this ring helps me so that it does not go to the bottom of the pocket and cover the camera, then I direct my body towards the lens so that it is not noticeable since I am not holding the cell phone with my hands and It does not generate suspicion, I recommend this technique because unlike holding it in your hand, sometimes if you do not rotate your wrist well the shot comes out either very low or very high, also when you have it in your pocket the approach is ideal for the complete shot to come out. . I hope that advice is useful to you.
Hahahhaha this is exactly what i do but i stopped using this ring because i find it suspicious so instead i just shove toilet paper or something else in the bottom so that when I put in the phone, it cant go all the way down making enough space for the upper camera all while looking innocent
