Yep, that’s her. So… you’re probably wondering how I ended up here… well, it all started back when I went to the store.
…I don’t remember how it came about, but I do know the store was absolutely packed. She was there, trying on shoes, so I know I had to get capping. My eyes nearly popped out of my head. My heart was already racing at this point, knowing the opportunity I would have. Unicorn moment in every sense of the word considering that although people were around and the store was packed, I had scouted a position where I’d have unfettered access to her, and I made damn sure not to miss the opportunity. So, off I went. I beelined for the shoe aisle and took my place; the adrenaline was building after each second, heart pounding to near audible levels (I mean, surely somebody sees this? It’s only going to be a matter of time before I get that tap on my shoulder), but nope… nothing. It had been like she was running the gamut of every position possible, looking at shoes, and me and her fell into some alternative universe where we were both invisible to the world.
I was like kid in a candy store after it was over — lens was clean, it was recording, I didn’t fub any angles and/or accidentally turn the camera around, etc. — it was perfect. Absolutely perfect. Once she left the aisle, I had been content. I didn’t follow, didn’t press my luck — I had what I needed.
