Which budget phone can I get? I want to upgrade the quality

I currently have a Galaxy Note 9 and have had some decent shots with it but I’m really tired of the blurry stuff at the minimal movement.

I’m also on a budget so please help me decide wether getting a Pixel 4 is worth it or an iPhone 8 (or X maybe)?

Things I’m looking for: smaller phone (less visible in hand and esasier to handle)
At least a lil bit more quality than a Galaxy Note 9’s camera.

When it comes to video, iPhone is always better. Only android’s that can compare are the galaxies. I recommend iPhone 12 and up. I had all of the iPhones from the past years. The 12 was when I saw a nice difference when it came to black leggings

Sounds good, I actually thought about getting a 12 Mini. Will still consider that. Thanks.

Just plain wrong.

@bomdiadobrasil get a use S22+ or S23+ or ultra. Android is by far the better OS for what you’ll be using it for. BVR is a gamechanger (not available on IOS).

Appreciate the input. I found some old footage from an iPhone 7+ I had a few years back and got mind blown with how superior the stability and smoothness and how crisp was the image compared to the Note 9. Really thinking about saving for a newer iPhone.

I haven’t used BVR for years after finding out the quality drop vs mind camera, so won’t miss I guess.

The pixel 8 the regular one, it has surprisingly good video even compared to an iphone, and takes great pictures. The videos especially in HDR look amazing.

Thanks for letting me know that. I already got an S21 the normal version for what my budget could afford, however, the improvement from the Note 9 is clearly there. I was doing some research and they say the Sony Xperia phones are the among the best androids for videos as well, don’t know if anyone here could confirm that.

Later on I’ll dedicate 1 phone for candids only, might be an iPhone 12, a Pixel or one of the Xperias if someone here can confirm the quality.

if by BVR you mean background video recorder, that is available on iOS.

You did well with the s21. I had that phone before i got this somewhat lousy zflip5. I wish i could of gotten the 23. Oh well

Wait do you mean auto brightness on screen or brightness adaptation changes while taking vidoes?
