To add to @RealG 's informative post, you can’t go wrong with many of the modern smartphones out today. Go with the ecosystem you’re most entrenched in, or the phone you like the most. That’s it. Almost all of them are capable phones that do well in most shooting conditions, and to go further in depth would be to split hairs. You’re compressing the shit out of your media anyway when you upload it, so you aren’t necessarily making a difference in the grand scheme of things.
