Lol definitely has already been done problem with those are you cam only get straigt angles based on how bottle sits flat up which is why cam in hand or a bag is always best option in every scenario

I have a bottle cam setup. I shoot in street runners events. Here’s a pic of one of various caps I’ve already catched.
As you can see, there’s a lot of angles that you can try

There’s my setup. One bottle, one action cam, one smartphone (for street filming).
After that, I fill the bottle with some stuff to get the action cam straight to the hole
Use your creative. I’m using socks and a mini pocket. So here we are! Very discretly, I never been caught with this.

Honestly, looks pretty fucking good lol. Only problem I can think of is i’d imagine you have to be quick and precise with it, not recording for long periods of time at once before someone looks inside the hole.
But I can easily see how you can play this off naturally via taking pretend “drinks”, closing the cap and opening it every now and then to record etc. Nice job man.

That is a fantastic idea. The footage looks great from the AS300. I have the Sony FDR1000x which is a 4K model and is great. I’ll have to look into this. I’d paint the red cap black though because if you have it open like that while shooting will people not expect water to pour out of it?

Yes, I would paint it in black. However I think most of people are not interesting in water in my bottle, so I film for like 3 minutes and go away. Thanks for your comment
