Ashtro’s Merida shot (she really looks like that character Meruda from that animated movie), is the real deal…the upshots made me nearly cry.

Indeed, quality and subjects are excellent (amazing actually), but I do also feel they follow a formula. Maybe I’m wrong but he appears to have closer access to these women e.g. as friends or part of a job? Would be tough getting consistent shots like these wandering up to complete strangers for no reason.
My personal favourite type of candids are the ones that look like random encounters and give off more of a risk element. I know not everyone thinks like this, it doesn’t take away from how good the shots themselves are, really my opinion isn’t worth shit anyway. They definitely fit the “summer” brief, the women are hot and the quality is superb.
